This 8-Week First Pull up, Chest to bar or Ring Muscle up is a program focused on getting members of all levels to reach an important upper body pulling benchmark that matches their ability. Getting a pull up, chest to bar or ring muscle up is a big part of any CrossFitters journey and in this focus series we’ll be focusing on strength & technique to help athletes improve quicker.

Join Coach Brent for this series beginning Thursday April 9th at 5pm, running until May 28th. Sign-up in Push Press.

We are officially almost 1 WEEK AWAY from the first OPEN Announcement on February 26th and we are gearing up for this to the best OPEN YET!

Kicking off 26.1 February 26th @ 7:15pm: Brianna Mallon VS Coach Eva
Second Week 26.2 March 5th@ 7:15pm: Ken Richardson VS Coach Chris

Come by the gym each Thursday evening to cheer on the athletes OR catch the Livestream on our Facebook page, so you don't miss out on the action!

Still unsure about the OPEN? Here are a few reasons why we do the open and why should you!

The Open is comprised of three workouts over the span of three weeks. Workouts will be released every Thursday with a deadline to submit a score online by Monday evening. While the purpose of the Open is to find the fittest athletes in each region to move onto the quarterfinals, it’s also an opportunity for any member at any level to participate in the competition and represent their affiliate. It can add meaning and purpose to your training, by providing an opportunity to set a baseline and be amazed at the progress achieved the following year.

Back again starting February 27th, the gym will be hosting our 'Friday Night Lights' from 5pm to 7pm for all Open Competitors to compete and an opportunity for the community to come together! If you aren't competing in the Open, come on out to cheer on your fellow members and we are also looking for volunteer judges.

At CrossFit Kemptville, our exceptional coaching staff and strong community partnerships are dedicated to supporting, leading, educating, and motivating our members. Together, we strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone who walks through our doors can experience the “Best Hour of Their Day.”

We are taking a moment to officially WELCOME Morgan Martin to the CrossFit Kemptville Personal Training staff!

Morgan joined CrossFit Kemptville in the spring of 2023 and has quickly become a familiar face in both Open Gym and evening classes. Known for her consistency and work ethic, she recently signed up for her first HYROX Pro Division team event with her teammate, Kiana. Morgan has also been putting in the work to achieve her first bar muscle-up as she prepares for this year’s Open. We’re excited to continue watching her progress and cheering her on every step of the way!

After joining CrossFit Kemptville, she developed a strong appreciation for the training methodology and was inspired by the significant physical, mental, and emotional progress of the community. This inspiration led her to pursue certification as a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer in 2024, after which she began offering personal training services.

Morgan would be a great fit for a young athlete, those who are new to strength-training, or someone looking to be led through fitness programming that is designed for their goals. She is accepting new clients and is offering early morning and day-time training session times.

Why Choose CFKV in 2026?
Ready is Not a Requirement: You don’t need to be in shape to start. We adjust movements to match your current ability so you can train safely alongside everyone else. The training will meet you where you are at and help get you where you want to be.

Diverse Specialized Programs:
📍SWEAT Membership: A 45-50 minute "no-fuss" class focused on high heart rates and movement consistency without complex barbell work or gymnastics.
📍Golden Hour (Ages 55+): Functional fitness focused on maintaining independence, balance, and mobility through movements that mimic daily life.
📍FitFam & Youth Programs: Families can bond through fitness in our 6-week FitFam cycles (Saturdays at 10:30 AM), or enroll children (ages 7-11) and teens (ages 12-15) in age-appropriate training.

Ready is Not a Requirement: You don’t need to be in shape to start. We adjust movements to match your current ability so you can train safely alongside everyone else. The training will meet you where you are at and help get you where you want to be.

Diverse Specialized Programs:
📍SWEAT Membership: A 45-50 minute "no-fuss" class focused on high heart rates and movement consistency without complex barbell work or gymnastics.
📍Golden Hour (Ages 55+): Functional fitness focused on maintaining independence, balance, and mobility through movements that mimic daily life.
📍FitFam & Youth Programs: Families can bond through fitness in our 6-week FitFam cycles (Saturdays at 10:30 AM), or enroll children (ages 7-11) and teens (ages 12-15) in age-appropriate training.
📍Specialty Skills: We host dedicated classes for Olympic Lifting (Mondays at 6 PM), Endurance (Tuesdays at 6 PM), and Gymnastics (Thursdays at 5 PM).
📍Wellness & Recovery: Your membership can include access to Yoga and mobility sessions to ensure your body feels as good as it looks.

On October 25th, the CrossFit Kemptville community came together and rowed in teams of 4 for 8 hours in honour of those struggling in their fight against breast cancer and those who have sadly lost their battle 🩵

In 2024 an estimated 30,500 women and 500 men were diagnosed with breast cancer, an alarming but very real statistic. This is a reminder to everyone to never wait, get yourself checked 🩷

As the clock stuck 4pm, to our amazement the team collectively row’d over 1 million kilometres!! On top of that we fundraised over $2,700 smashing our $500 goal!!🩵

We want to thank everyone who came out to participate in the event, everyone who came out to support the rowers and cheer on and to those who generously donated to support our cause 🩷

Thank you to Jewelry handmade by Zoey and Rory who came onsite to sell custom bracelets. The girls donated almost $100 of their sales to the cause!! 🩵
