An avid athlete my whole life; no stranger to participating in organized sports such as soccer, competitive swimming and dance, horseback riding and running. My fitness journey began with instructing for GoodLife in 2009, where I held Les Mills Body Pump, Body Combat, CX-WORX certifications and Fitness Instructor Certification through CanFit Pro. Constantly seeking out new challenges, I took on long distance running and have completed to date 9 marathons, 15 half marathons and 1 ultra marathon. After a few races, branched out into Obstacle Course Racing and qualified/competed in the OCR World Championships at Blue Mountain in Collingwood in 2016.
CrossFit Kemptville opened in 2017 and I immediately fell in love with the methodology and pushed me in ways I never knew possible. Within 1 year and being hooked, I obtained my Level 1 certificate and begin coaching in 2018 and completing my Level 2 in 2020. I have blessed with the opportunity to take over CrossFit Kemptville in March of 2022 and look forward to growing with the gyms incredible community!
I would like to welcome everyone to CrossFit Kemptville! Whether you are brand new to the sport or have have been an athlete your whole life, CrossFit is for everyone and will meet you where you are at in your fitness journey. We look forward to having you join us and providing you with 'The Best Hour of Your Day!"

A dad to two kids, and I have been living in Kemptville since 2004. I have been involved in sports for my entire life, starting with hockey at the age of 4 and continue to play today. I also enjoy skiing and snowboarding, playing baseball and golf. I just love to keep active.

I found CrossFit in 2018 thanks to a couple friends who were members at CrossFit Kemptville. After completing the Introduction classes, I was hooked! I love the competitive (if you want it to be) nature of CrossFit. It gave me that push to be better again, to challenge myself and because of that I am healthier. I obtained my CrossFit Level 1 and CrossFit Gymnastics Certification in 2019 started Coaching in October of that same year. I love sharing what I know about CrossFit with the members, seeing members move better, reaching their goals and learn new skills. It’s a great community and I encourage anyone to come give it a try.

I started CrossFit in my mid- 30s while I was living overseas in England and instantly fell in love. Throughout my life, I had always heavily involved in competitive team sports, but major injuries & work made this difficult to keep up with. CrossFit quickly filled the void.

In 2018, I went out and got my CrossFit Level One Trainers Certificate to increase my own knowledge and awareness of the methodology. In 2018/19 I began operating my own Military Affiliate while deployed overseas. I’ve now been coaching at CFKV for the past 3 years, mainly on Tuesday evenings and some weekends where I often run CrossFit HERO Workouts for the community.

I started at CFKV in 2017, looking for a place to practice climbing a rope for obstacle races. It took one session for me to be hooked on both the CrossFit methodology and the CFKV community. When I'm not in the gym, you can find me outside, canoeing, camping, snowboarding, cross country skiing, running, or obstacle racing. My passion for outdoor activities led me to taking my ORCKA Basic Canoe Instructor Certification and Wilderness First Aid. Looking forward to seeing you in the gym!

I have been coaching CrossFit since 2015 and currently hold the CrossFit L2 certificate. Through my experience, I have developed a deep level of knowledge in functional training and aim to exhibit this in each and every class. At the end of the day, the most important aspect to my coaching is ensuring each client is having fun and enjoying the process in their fitness journey. Look forward to seeing you in the gym!

My journey with CrossFit started in 2015, and it has been a constant in my life ever since! As I slowly worked my way through the scales, skills, and eventual PRs (first pullup! first Fran ha!), I came to love CrossFit methodology and completed the CrossFit Level 1 course to begin coaching. I find CrossFit as a methodology to be incredibly adaptable and empowering - no matter where you start or what your goals are, we can adapt the daily workout to match you personally, all while working out with a fantastic group of people!
Outside of CrossFit, I love to play sports and enjoy the outdoors. My current favourite sports are rock climbing and whitewater canoeing; however, hockey and horseback riding have both been a big part of my life in previous years!

I joined CFKV in 2021 and haven’t looked back. CrossFit has taken me on an exciting personal journey, and I’ve met so many great people that 2023 I decided to take not one but two courses - the CrossFit Level 1, and a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program. My mission is to help make “stretching” a daily standard for all athletes, ultimately improving performance and decreasing pain and injury.

Together you both will decide on the best plan that works for you. Your consultation appointment is free to ensure it is a good fit for you both.
What Does the Journey Look Like?
New weekly menu plans are provided that are altered to your goals, nutritional needs, exercise routines, sleeping habits and stress levels. Jess will schedule weekly check-ins to review the previous week, address any concerns/questions, as well as review progress photos to capture the progressions through your nutrition journey from start to finish.
