CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
I enjoy the busy life and believe this is achievable by committing and practicing a well-rounded wellness lifestyle. In my personal life, I work as a Residential Counsellor in group homes; a Volunteer Firefighter and a first aid instructor who is responsible for teaching upcoming recruits and long-time veterans in the service. I also occasionally work on movie sets as a Set Medic and most recently, joined the CFKV coaching team. I love anything that requires a little hard work, determination and discipline to accomplish. In my spare time, you will find me lost in the woods on a 20km hike or exploring and developing a new skill. I have spent a great deal of time perfecting the art of progress and this drives my enthusiasm and passion for everything I do. I have also always been an active participant in sports. Sprint canoeing and kayaking for 10 plus years as a youth, but also high diving to cross country skiing, to even completing a marathon.
New to CrossFit Kemptville early 2022, moving from the city where I practiced and coached CrossFit for upwards of 7 years. I currently hold CrossFit Level 1 and 2, as well as has a Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotions. Specializing in Olympic lifting and I have a knack for pattern recognition. Assisting anyone, from novice to elite athletes with developing awareness of their own body mechanics all while ensuring the individual maximizes efficiency and eliminates the risk of injury. Providing care and compassion to every individual who attends and I hope to see you in class soon!
